I don't know, But I really love this movie, I haven't cried for a movie in a long time. And visually everyone who watched this will be hooked up. And of course, children will love this.
This is not just the story of an ordinary boy and his imaginary monster. This is also about family, taking care of your loved ones especially - mother. The ending is the best when the boy trying to save his mother from falling into the big hole, I love that moment when he is trying to ask for a help with the monster. Emotionally, this movie is the BEST. Very highly recommended.
The acting of the boy is phenomenal, I just wondered if he got his first Oscars.
